There has been several news that the strike action declared by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) on 2nd August, 2021 has been suspended. Several News platforms has published and it is circulating on almost all social media platforms.
One of the post on www.aliglas.xyz stated that the UTAG Strike has allegedly been suspended.
Fresh information available is that the earlier information is fake as stated on aliglas that it is alleged information.
Several lecturers have been contacted by alegra to verify the information but all lecturers contacted stated that they have not received any information concerning suspension of the strike.
The industrial strike which was declared on the above date has lasted for two weeks and still counting.
