In the release, it stated that the company has been notified about one of its employees testing positive for COVID-19. The said employee visited the ISOS Clinic on Wednesday 3rd June with mild COVID-19 related symptoms. His diagnosis was affirmed by the Noguchi Health and Medical Research Centre.
Management added that the said employee is currently in a stable condition and in isolation. They are therefore going to collaborate with Ghana Health Service to start contact tracing and case management protocols.
According to management, disinfection exercised has been carried out at the affected employee's work area and has taken samples from 13 colleagues workers who recently interacted with the said employee.
Management in the announcement advised workers to continue to adhere to the recommended health practices and site protocols to protect themselves, families and communities at large.
