G.E.S Gives Green Light for annual ritual of teachers

One of the few benefit Ghanaian teachers get in the Education Service is Study Leave with Pay. This opportunity enable teachers especially those with Diploma certificate to further their studies at various Public Universities in Ghana. 

The Study Leave with Pay if given, helps the teacher to fulfill his/her financial obligation whiles in school since the teacher receives his/her salary when still in school. 

After the period of study, the teacher is reabsorbed into the Educational sector to contribute his/her quota towards educational development in the country.

The Ghana Education Service released a letter on 5th June, 2020 directing the various levels of educational directorate in the Country to submit Study Leave with Pay returns by 30th October, 2020 to the Director General for processing.

In attached document to the letter, was approved courses and their respective percentages. 

 

Teachers especially those with Diploma certificate should take advantage of this annual opportunity to upgrade themselves.
