Wednesday, 4th of August, 2021 has been declared as a statutory public Holiday. The day marks Founder's Day.
This is contained in a press release signed by Hon. Ambrose Dery (MP) and Minister for Interior on 27th of July, 2021
The day should however be observed as throughout the country.
