A 25 year old nurse student at Cape Coast has been killed and and buried secretly by Chief and Paster at Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region of Ghana.
According to information gathered by the media revealed that,the Chief who is the Tutuhen of Ekumfi Akwakrom and also President for the Mankessim Traders Association Nana Crack with the paster kidnapped these nurse after having sexual activity with her and demands money from the victim family members which she was killed and buried secretly at the Chief's room and cemented at Mankessim.
The pastor was arrested at Cape Coast and after confession it the police followed him to the Chiefs House.
The Body was buried about three weeks ago due to the bad odour it has brought to the community.
The victim was a final year at a nursing training.
The body was retrieved from the chiefs house and with her was her bag,shoes, and other belongings.
Speaking to the media,some of the residents shows their displeasure about the issues.
They said,they are now living in fear and panic and wondering how a Chief will involves himself in such act. As at now the Chief has runaway.
Speaking in an interview,the Assembly Member for the area Hon.Cephas Authur called on the Inspector General of Police to beef up security in the Mankessim and it environment.
According to the Assembly Man,this is not the first time such incident has happened in the Mankessim.
According to information available to Winofa, this is the fifth time such incident has within this year.
He called on the law court to dealt with the Chief and Pastor.
The body of the victim has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
