KNUST sets date for 2022/2023 academic year

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST has set date for commencement of the 2022/2023 Academic Year .

School authorities has scheduled the reopening date for the first semester of the next academic year on the 13th of January 2023 for Continuing Students only. Hence continues students are to take note of the date as they prepare themselves to end the 2021/2022 academic year.

Date for new students to report to the institution is yet to be made known by the University's authorities. 

The 2021/2022 academic year has been a very long one coupled with strike actions by University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG, a strike that lasted for almost three months. The strike brought a lot of inconveniences to students especially first year students who had reported to start University education for the first time in their lives. 

KNUST administration did well in responding to the call off of the strike and immediately proceeded to continue academic work. 

No wonder KNUST has been ranked as one of the best universities in Africa and the world at large.

In another story, level 400 students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has staged a demonstration against University authorities over discrepancies  in their transcript. The demonstration which started on Friday, 23rd September, 2022 is expected to continue on Monday September 6, 2022.
