A Junior High School (JHS) Teacher of Mpasatia D/A, Akwasi Anane has allegedly died in a galamsey pit at Manso Mpatasie, near Manso Odaho in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, October 4,2022.
According to the report available to Winofa.online, the said teacher went to the galamsey site to work but unfortunately fell into pit where he met his untimely death
The assembly member of Manso-Nweneso-Mpatasie electoral area, Hon. Acheampong Duku George has confirmed is unfortunate sad incidence during an interview with winofa.online
The body has been removed from the pit and has been sent to St. Martin’s Hospital at Agroyesum for autopsy and preservation.
The police in the area have commenced investigation into the matter to ascertain the real cause of the tragic incidence.
