In a significant move to ease the process for prospective Senior High School (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students, the Ministry of Education has announced free access to the 2024/2025 placement results through the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). This initiative aims to eliminate the need for purchasing PIN codes, which previously served as a hurdle for many candidates.
According to a press release issued on October 25, 2024, by the Ministry, this decision is geared towards providing a more accessible system for students to check their school placements without financial burdens. Kwasi Kwarteng, the spokesperson for the Ministry, emphasized that this development would make the process smoother and more efficient for both students and their families.
To access the placement results, students can visit the official CSSPS website at either https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org. They will need to enter their 10-digit index number, followed by “24” (representing the year of completion). Once submitted, students will be able to view their placement results instantly.
The Ministry of Education encourages all eligible students to take full advantage of this opportunity as they prepare to transition into their first year of SHS or TVET institutions.
This supportive initiative is seen as a forward-thinking approach by the government to simplify education-related processes and ensure no student is left behind due to financial barriers.
